History

The Christchurch ALL Filipino Cup (CAFC) is a sportsfestival event that offers the most common sports we Filipinos love to play. Among these are basketball, volleyball, ping-pong and badminton, with basketball being the main event.

It started in the year 2006 and was originally known as"KALINGA LAKAS". It stemmed up as a project of "GAWAD KALINGA - GK 777", a community that aimed to build houses in the poorest villages of the Philippines. Kalinga Lakas Sportsfest aimed to donate a house and through its success, funds were raised and one house was able to be built at the New Zealand Village in Towerville, Bulacan.

From then on, the sportsfest was declared to be an annual event and in year 2007, it was renamed as the Christchurch ALL Filipino Cup.

Every new year promises to be even bigger and more competitive than the last. Come, play and support! Don’t miss it! Register your teams now.
